This is an exciting opportunity to use the superb ceramics facilities at Belfast School of Art and begin, or progress, your journey in clay. The course can also be accessed byexperienced ceramists who want to use the facilities and have directed input from the tutor. The eight-week (3 hours per week) course is taught on a Tuesday day night 6.00 – 9.00 pm by Tracey Johnston a graduate of the Ulster University. The course is suitable for all types of students - beginner, intermediate, or experienced potters who want to learn new techniques. The teaching will be delivered on both individual and group basis. All main making techniques will be covered with an emphasis on skill development. Costs include reasonable use of materials, colours and firings, and take place in the Ceramic area, Belfast School of Art, Ulster University, York Street, Belfast. |
