Short Courses

This course will suit someone who has little or no experience of working with clay.  It is also suited to the Intermediate student, where new techniques and thrown shapes will be demonstrated.  Help from the tutor will be available. You will have opportunities to experience a number of different techniques, including, slab work, coil work and an opportunity to learn how to use a potter’s wheel.   This is an exciting opportunity to use the superb ceramics facilities at Belfast School of Art and begin, or progress, your journey in clay. The course can also be accessed by experienced ceramists who want to use the facilities and have directed input from the tutor.
